According to the Swedish Armed Forces, the JAS fighter jets were launched because of a French plane, not Russian.

“[The JAS fighter aircraft] were launched because of a French plane. We do not provide any further details as the incident is now being studied,” the Head of Press at the Swedish Armed Forces, Philip Simon said on-air at Radio Sweden.

Simon confirmed the incident took place on November 15 but did not specify the exact time and place.
