MOSCOW, October 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Defense Ministry will present early in 2015 a "White Book" on the threats to the country's national security and the military's general development, Chairman of the Russian Armed Forces' Military Science Committee Stanislav Suvorov told reporters Monday.
"The Ministry of Defense is preparing the book "The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation" [The White Book] for publication. It is expected that the 'The White Book' and its introduction will be implemented in the first quarter of 2015", Suvorov said.
"The White Book" will be an open edition by the Defense Ministry, outlining the official positions of Russia's military regarding the presence, character and quality of military dangers, threats and risks standing before Russia's state sovereignty, territorial integrity and national interests.
The book will also detail the Defense Ministry's position on the general line of development of its technical, intellectual, organizational, informational and other resources, as well as on issues relating to the ministry's relationships with the society.
