TOKYO, September 16 (RIA Novosti) - The debris of another unmanned aerial vehicle, or drone, which was supposedly made in and launched from North Korea, have been found near the border on South Korean island Pennendo, Yonhap news agency reported citing sources in South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.

"All the equipment, including the engine or camera have been lost. Only an empty fuselage with broken wings has survived. it is hard to say at this time when and where these debris fell," the agency's source said.

The wreckage, found by a South Korean fisherman in the sea near the island, looks identical to the North Korean drones, which fell in South Korea in March-April this year, experts say.

Pennendo Island is located 10-15 kilometers (6-9 miles) away from North Korea and serves as a strategic entity, where South Korea bases its marine forces.

According to South Korean media, the drones were experimental models, developed for aerial shooting. The first two drones were equipped with Japanese video cameras, and were filming the presidential residency in Seoul.

North Korea denies the drones belonged to it.
