Saudi-Led Coalition Destroys Explosive-Laden Drone Launched by Yemen's Houthis

On Friday, Yemen's Houthis claimed their Air Force launched a drone attack on Abha International Airport and the King Khalid Air Base.

Yemen's Houthi movement has been engulfed in an armed conflict with Saudi-aided government forces since 2015. The movement has repeatedly launched attacks against Saudi Arabia, with the Abha International Airport being a frequent target.

The latest attack comes as the United States intends to lift its designation of Yemen’s Houthis as a terrorist organisation.
