"As a result of the Israeli aggression against peaceful Palestinians, six Palestinians were killed and 506 were injured today on the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip," Qidra said.
Those killed include the teens aged 14 and 18, the health authority said, as cited by Haaretz.

In the meantime, the IDF announced that it had hit northern Gaza in response to grenades and explosives devices being thrown at soldiers stationed along the border fence.
The Israeli military noted that some 10,000 Palestinian protesters participated in rallies along the fence in various locations. As the military stated, some demonstrators were burning tires and hurling grenades at soldiers, as well as stones. Thus, the army noted it had to respond with riot control measures in accordance with the open-fire policy.

Protests began in late March when Gazan authorities called for action in response to decades of Israeli occupation and demanded access to ancestral land. More than a hundred Palestinians, including journalists, have since been killed by Israeli fire.
