MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Last week, reports emerged that the Saudi-led coalition's airstrike had hit one of the houses in the Mahdah area, killing several people, mostly women and children.

Maliki said that the coalition completed an after-action review for operations conducted in Saada province and found no proof of the allegations, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Additionally, the coalition put forth all efforts, and cooperated with Yemeni government and international partners while probing the incident, the spokesman added.

The spokesman called on media, as well as on humanitarian organizations, to avoid placing the blame on the coalition without first possessing the exact data and investigation results.

Yemen has been in the grip of a civil war since 2014, which has affected the country’s infrastructure, economic and social systems, as well as national health care. The war is waged between the internationally recognized government of President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and the Houthi movement backed by army units loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh. In March 2015, the Saudi-led coalition of mostly Persian Gulf countries launched airstrikes against the Houthis at Hadi's request.
