MOSCOW (Sputnik) — More than 24 people were killed and over 40 injured in explosion in Kabul on Monday morning, TOLOnews broadcaster reported, citing the office of the second Chief Executive of Afghanistan Mohammad Mohaqiq.
According to the media, the explosion occurred at 06:45 a.m. local time (02:45 GMT) in Kabul’s Police District 3, close to Mohaqiq’s house.
Earlier in the day, the country’s Health Ministry also said that 12 people were killed in the explosion.
