    The Syrian army has retaken a strategic height from Daesh terrorists to the southeast of Palmyra, local media said Monday.

    DAMASCUS (Sputnik) — Syrian troops and pro-government militias have taken control over height 939.5, the top strategic point of the Al-Hayal range, the SANA news agency reported, citing a military source.

    The operation has wiped out numerous Daesh militants as well as destroying a large number of enemy military equipment, according to the source.
