MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Saturday night, two bombs exploded at a short interval near the Vodafone Arena Stadium, killing at least 29 people, including 27 police officers, and injuring 166.
According to the Daily Sabah newspaper, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim announced the day of national mourning across the country and said that this violent attack would not be left unpunished.
Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus said earlier in the day there were reasons to believe that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants, outlawed in Turkey, could have been behind the attack.
