    The US Department of State has approved a possible $3.5 billion sale of Apache attack helicopters and associated services to the United Arab Emirates, the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced in a release Thursday.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The release reads that the proposed sale will improve the capability of the UAE "to meet current and future threats and provide greater security for its critical infrastructure."
