MOSCOW (Sputnik) — About 3,200 civilians, including 1,587 children, have escaped terrorist-controlled areas of eastern Aleppo in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday.
"Within the last 24 hours, a total of 3,193 civilians, including 1,587 children, have left the besieged areas of the Aleppo city with the assistance of the Russian Center for reconciliation," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.
