DAMASCUS (Sputnik) — The shelling occurred during classes, killing a lecturer. All seven people injured in the attack are civilians. The school is located in the district of Al-Furqan, frequently targeted by militants.
The situation in Aleppo has been seriously deteriorating over the recent months. Thousands of civilians are trapped in the terrorist-besieged eastern parts of Aleppo with no access to food or water. There have been several attempts to establish a ceasefire, however the bids have failed.
On Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Syrian government forces fully liberated territory of eastern Aleppo, where some 90,000 residents live.
