    Syria's Air Force, which deliver massive strikes on the fortified positions and batteries of militants, is supporting Syrian troops near the cities of Duma and Harasta northeast of the Syria's capital Damascus, according to a military source.

    DAMASCUS (Sputnik) — Syria's Air Force is delivering massive strikes on militants' positions near the cities of Duma and Harasta northeast of the capital Damascus, a military source said Friday.

    "Fierce clashes between our forces and terrorists from the Jabhat al-Nusra [Nusra Front] and Jaysh al-Islam groups are underway near Harasta and Duma. Our aircraft, which deliver massive strikes on the fortified positions and batteries of militants, are supporting our troops," the source told RIA Novosti.
