Russian Military Registers 42 Truce Violations in Syria in Past 24 Hours

The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation at the Hmeimim airbase registered a total of 42 violations of the ceasefire regime in Syria in the last 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website Sunday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the bulletin, a number of attacks, particularly in the provinces of Latakia and Aleppo had been conducted by militants from Ahrar ash-Sham and Jaish al-Islam groups.

"A total of 42 ceasefire violations by militant groups have been registered in Damascus (17), Aleppo (17), Latakia (5), Hama (2), and Daraa (1) provinces," the ministry said.
