    According to an army unit commander, Syrian government army troops have cleared from militants and established control over the 1070 district in southwestern Aleppo.

    DAMASCUS (Sputnik) Syrian government army troops have cleared from militants and established control over the 1070 district in southwestern Aleppo, Syria, an army unit commander told Sputnik on Tuesday.

    The commander of one of the assault teams said members of the Jaish al-Fatah alliance, which includes the Jabhat Fatah al-Sham group banned in Russia, fled southward after heavy clashes.
