Aleppo Hotel Hosting Russia's Channel One Reporters Come Under Mortar Attack

A hotel in Aleppo, where reporters from Russia's Channel One and their colleagues from other countries are staying, has been attacked with mortars, the Russian broadcaster said Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Channel One, the incident took place in the area, where the offices of international organizations working in Syria, such as the United Nations, the UNICEF, and the Red Crescent Society, are located.

The mortar attack lasted for about half an hour with six shells being fired at the hotel and neighboring houses, the broadcaster reported.

The attack left no victims, according to the broadcaster.
