MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A multi-national business delegation participating in the "Inside the Kremlin" program has meet with Kosachev on Wednesday.

"We are definitely not going to interfere Syria's internal affairs. Russia will leave Syria after restoration of the law and stability there," the lawmaker said at the meeting.

According to Kosachev, if the Syrian people have an opportunity to determine the way of forming the authority in the country, "they will manage to do so by themselves."

Kosachev noted that the Russian agreement with the West on cessation of hostilities in Syria had failed, because Europe and the United States, first and foremost, had been pursuing the goal of changing the regime in Damascus instead of defeating terrorism.

The business delegation is represented by almost 50 companies from more than 15 countries, including the United States, Germany, India, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.

The three-day business visit is organized by the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and Steven Kupka, managing partner of Husch Blackwell business services law firm.
