As Iran beefs up its military hardware, an Iranian commander has claimed Tehran is in possession of a missile capable of striking Israel.

Last week, the Iranian military conducted a parade through the capital of Tehran, displaying a wide variety of tanks, warplanes, and missiles.

According to Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Division, one of those missiles is capable of striking Israel, roughly 764 miles away.

"The Zionist regime is our biggest target," he said, according to the Jerusalem Post.

"We do not need missiles with a range of over 2,000 kilometers. The longest range required for [Iran’s] missiles is the [Israeli] occupied lands."

Last week, Hajizadeh claimed that one of the missiles on display, the Zolfaghar, had a range of roughly 466 miles. That missile was adorned with a banner that warned against Israeli provocations.

"If the leaders of the Zionist regime make one false move, the Islamic republic will turn Tel Aviv and Haifa to dust," the banner said.

According to General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces, Tehran is concerned with the recently agreed-upon military aid deal between the US and Israel.

"The recent decision of the American criminals to give military aid to the usurper Zionist regime reinforces our determination to increase our defense capabilities," Bagheri said, according to the Times of Israel.

Over the next ten years, Washington will supply its ally with a record $38 billion in military aid.

"The ultimate objective of the United States, the Zionist regime and those who support terrorist groups…is to destroy the infrastructure of Syria and Iraq in favor [of Israel]," Begheri added.

Tensions have also been inflamed by recent standoffs between the Iran Revolutionary Guard and US Navy ships in the Persian Gulf.

"We tell the Americans that it’s better that the capital and wealth of the American people should not be wasted on their inappropriate and detrimental presence in the Persian Gulf," said Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, commander of the Revolutionary Guard, according to the Jerusalem Post.

America can give 100 billions of arms to Israel, small Hezbollah can destroy Israel and they knows it perfectly, when Sayed Nasrallah speaks all Israel is shaking.

Beware of the $ figure of weapons made in America.

The same piece of equipment that Northrup Grumman or Boeing charge the US government $10billion can be manufactured by Russia, China or Iran for less than $2Billion.

It's organized fraud by the military industrial complex and the politicians that they place in high offices in DC.

Saudi Arabia and other gulf cloudy oligarchs are wasting 100s of billions of $ per year for US made weapons. Iran just goes to the local machine shop with a home design and get more performant weapons for at 1/5 the cost. Plus they don't depend on a foreign master!!

May our Creator remove from the earth all those who worship Lucifer and do his bidding.

His prophecies are coming true. The Edomites will be locked in prison for 1000 years and earth will return to the Goodness and Rule of Almighty God.

I am always surprised how leaders have always enough money for weapons but nothing to improve the life of their citizens. Shame

When Russia was arming Iran with 400, there are just positive comments, but when US is arming Israel or especially S. Korea with defense system, everything is just negative. But I understand the hypocracy. in West medias, you will see comments positive and negative, here is mostly brainwashed.

West media covers both sides objectively bullshit! perhaps to a degree in UK otherwise absolutely not.
Israel has 200 nukes? and is actively involved in the destruction of Syria as a pretext to attacking Iran everybody knows it except you "George'.

You talk about S350E it took years for Iran to get from Russia owing to Israeli and US interjection. Whilst all along Israel has 200 nukes? and NATO was poised to attack to stop Iran developing nuclear energy? man can you facts sorted if your not a troll which im sure you are!

"Over the next ten years, Washington will supply its ally with a record $38 billion in military aid" -- while simultaneously bombing most of the middle east, maintaining hundreds of military installations in countries around ther world, where those people don't want them - and watching The AMERICAN people lose their jobs, homes, health care, savings and safety nets...What's wrong with this picture?

      TRUMP for president 2016!
      HILLARY for prison 2017!

l., it's quite understandable really - improving the lives of their citizens does not improve the balance of their own bank accounts...

      Hello Ann,

I was going to make a response similar to yours but did not know how to articulate it. PeaceActivist2 does come on as a well intended individual however a peace activist for Tel-Aviv.
