Russian Transport Minister to Discuss Flights Resumption to Egypt With Sisi
CAIRO (Sputnik) — Russian and Egyptian authorities reportedly discussed the resumption of passenger air traffic between Russia and Egypt as well as a bilateral draft agreement on civil aviation security.

"There were no talks on that issue," Shoura told RIA Novosti commenting on media reports claiming that the entire terminal of the airport would be assigned for flights from Russia following the meetings of Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi and Minister of Civil Aviation Sharif Fathi on Tuesday.

Passenger flights from Russia to Egypt were suspended due to security reasons after the crash of the Russian A321 airliner on October 31, 2015, which was hit by the bomb blast on board. Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the downing of the Russian plane.
