The US Defense Department has refuted Russia’s accusations of US-led coalition drone flying over Syria’s Aleppo where an aid convoy was attacked, Pentagon spokesman Adrian J.T. Rankine-Galloway told Sputnik on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The Russian Defense Ministry said earlier in the day that a US Predator drone operated near Urum al-Kubra area north of Aleppo at the time of a recent deadly attack on a UN aid convoy.

"The US-led coalition was not flying in the area around Aleppo, Syria where the humanitarian convoy was struck,” Rankine-Galloway stated.
