LONDON (Sputnik) — The Syrian army declared earlier on Monday the end of ceasefire regime blaming militants for numerous violations that made the cessation of hostilities unreasonable.
"The UK calls on all parties and their backers to do everything possible to make the cessation of hostilities a success," a spokesman for the UK Foreign Office told RIA Novosti.
The new Russia-US brokered nationwide ceasefire regime in Syria came into force on September 12.
