Syrian Ceasefire to Last for 7 Days Starting From Monday Evening – Syrian Army
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Friday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry after 14 hours of negotiations announced a new peace plan on Syria, which stipulates a nationwide ceasefire starting on September 12.

The SANA news agency said citing Syria's General Command of the Army and Armed Forces that Damascus reserved the right to respond to the violations of the ceasefire regime, using all possible kinds of weapons.

Syria has been mired in civil war since 2011, with government forces loyal to President Bashar Assad fighting a number of opposition factions and extremist groups.
