The US-led coalition destroyed the Daesh’s supply routes near its de facto Syrian capital of Raqqa, the US Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve said in a statement.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Nine additional airstrikes near Al Shadadi destroyed 14 fighting positions, a vehicle borne improvised explosive device, a command and control node and two bulldozers, the statement noted.

"Near Ar Raqqah [Raqqa], six strikes destroyed ten ISIL [Daesh] supply routes, three oil pump jacks and other oil drilling equipment," the statement said on Monday.

In Iraq, the coalition conducted seven strikes coordinated with the government of Iraq, using attack, fighter and remotely piloted aircraft.

The strikes in Iraq destroyed Daesh tactical units near Al Baghdadi, Mosul and Qayyarah, as well as a tunnel entrance near Ramadi and an explosive devices factory near Sultan Abdallah.

Additionally, one strike near Tal Afar destroyed a vehicle, the Task Force said.
