Hamza Bin Laden, son of al-Qaeda founder and former leader Osama Bin Laden, has called for the overthrow of the Saudi government and an end to the US influence on Riyadh, a US-based extremism watchdog said on Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Established in 2009, AQAP is a branch of the terror group al-Qaeda, active in Saudi Arabia and Yemen, which is outlawed in many countries worldwide, including in Russia and the United States.

"Hamza bin Laden echoes father's call to overthrow Saudi regime, cut #US influence in country, & train w/ #AQAP [al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula]," Rita Katz, director of the SITE Intelligence Group, wrote on her Twitter account.
