MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The humanitarian situation in the western part of Aleppo city is improving due to efforts by the Syrian government, the Russian Defense Ministry said Wednesday.
"The humanitarian situation in the western part of the Aleppo city is stabilizing and is under control of the Syrian Arab Republic government," the ministry said in a statement posted on its website.
"Some 210 posts with hot meals and items of first necessity have been deployed in the western part of the city for civilians leaving the Aleppo area still controlled by terrorist groups," the statement said.
