At least 10 foreign nationals took part in the military coup attempt in Turkey and are now under investigation, Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus said Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Kurtulmus has not specified their nationalities but said that the number may rise, the Daily Sabah newspaper reported.

On July 15, the Turkish authorities said that an attempted coup was taking place in the country. Over 13,000 people have been detained in connection with the coup, while about 250 people died during the coup attempt.
