    Turkish government officials have been restricted from traveling abroad.

    ANKARA (Sputnik) – Government officials have been restricted from traveling abroad, with additional requirements to arrange travel introduced for selected categories of civil servants, Turkish television reported Monday, citing sources in the interior ministry.

    The travel restrictions apply to all government officials. Green passport holders are required to provide a letter from an employer indicating the purpose and the duration of the trip, according to the NTV broadcaster.
