ULAANBAATAR (Sputnik), Anastasia Levchenko — There is a clear understanding among the Turkish people that the attempted coup was organized by people who have connection to the army, Zeynap Jane Kandur, Member of the Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) Istanbul Administration, told Sputnik.
AKP is holding the majority of seats in the Turkish parliament.
"At the moment, it has not been stated by anybody who is responsible for the attempted coup… There is a lot of questioning among the Turkish people who they are, there is no official statement, but it is long time that we know that these people are in the army. They have been trying to control the agenda in Turkey," Kandur said.
