Israeli self-defense forces have levelled a Palestinian house in the occupied West Bank after its owner was killed while on a stabbing rampage in Tel Aviv two months ago, Israeli media said Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The attacker was identified as Bashar Massalha. He is accused of murdering US tourist Taylor Force and injuring a dozen of Israelis in March, according to an army statement cited by the Times of Israel newspaper.

The 22-year-old was shot down by Israeli security officers at the scene. His body was given back to Palestinian authorities and buried last month.

Violence between Palestinians and Israeli security forces has been on the rise since last autumn. Palestinians have been routinely gunned down for staging car and knife attacks on Israelis as well as pelting army convoys with stones in the Israel-occupied West Bank.
