"We are now in the dialogue process between the opposition and the government as we agreed and want to make a coalition with the government, to make a wider government that will include the Syrian opposition forces and the Syrian current government that should represent all Syrian people. This will ensure safety for the Syrian political structure and can accelerate the current war against terrorism. It is a very good idea," Ahmad said.
Syria has been mired in civil war since 2011, with government forces loyal to President Bashar Assad fighting a number of opposition factions and extremist groups.
A Syrian government delegation, as well as three opposition groups — the Riyadh-formed High Negotiations Committee, the Moscow-Cairo and the Hmeymim groups have been taking part in the UN-mediated Geneva talks on Syrian reconciliation.
