A group of at least 160 al-Nusra Front militants has crossed the border with Turkey in the north of Idlib province and is heading for the Aleppo area to reinforce terrorists fighting there, the Russian Center for Syrian reconciliation said Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the center's report, Daesh and al-Nusra Front terrorists have been conducting target reconnaissance and artillery spotting fire for the past several days in an apparent preparation for an offensive.

"The intensive shelling is targeting residential areas, administrative buildings, positions of government troops and militia units," the report said.
