MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier a medical source told Sputnik that at least 25 people were killed and another 40 injured after a twin bomb attack in Iraq's capital of Baghdad.
The bomb blasts occurred in two different areas. The first and most deadly one took place in the northern Baghdad district of al-Shaa. The second one hit the southern neighborhood of Al-Rashee.

According to reports, there are no immediate claims of responsibility for the attacks.
Last week a car bomb detonated in a Shiite-majority district in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad killing 31 people and wounding at least 60. An explosives-laden car exploded near a busy market in Baghdad’s eastern neighborhood of Sadr City.
