    An explosion occurred at the central Ulu Cami mosque in the Northwestern Turkish city of Bursa.

    The blast has killed at least one person and wounded at least 13, according to Turkish NTV channel. The previous number of victims stood at 7. Local security forces and medical teams responded to the explosion and cordoned off the scene.

    ​The explosion took place at 17:25 local time.

    The blast caused panic, the TV channel said.

    Local news agency DHA reported citing a security source and a government official that the blast was caused by a 25-year-old female suicide bomber. Governor of Bursa has confirmed the information.
