Saudi Arabia Announces Plan to Build Bridge to Egypt Across Red Sea

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said that Saudi Arabia and Egypt will build a bridge over the Red Sea linking the two countries.

CAIRO (Sputnik) – Saudi Arabia and Egypt will build a bridge over the Red Sea linking the two countries, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said Friday.

"The bridge will pave the way for the implementation of future projects between Saudi Arabia and Egypt," the king said during his first visit to Egypt since his inauguration in early 2015.
