WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — In Syria, the coalition’s airstrikes were carried out near seven locations, including Raqqah, Hasakah, Hawl, Manbij, and Idlib, and destroyed multiple Daesh positions, three vehicle-borne bombs, anti-air artillery piece, as well as Daesh vehicles.
“Attack, fighter, and remotely piloted aircraft conducted 14 strikes in Syria,” the release said on Monday.
“Fighter and remotely piloted aircraft conducted 10 strikes in Iraq, coordinated with and in support of Iraq’s government.”
In Iraq, the airstrikes were conducted near Baghdadi, Mosul, Kisik and Kirkuk among other locations, and destroyed two Daesh assembly areas, supply cache, weapons storage, staging facility as well as a staging area.
