Two Expolosions Hit Syria's Homs, Casualties Reported

Two bomb explosions on Thursday rocked a district in the Syrian city of Homs, reportedly injuring an unspecified number of civilians, a source in the Homs Mayor's Office said.

DAMASCUS (Sputnik) — Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011, with the government forces fighting several opposition factions and militant groups, including Daesh. Kurdish militias have also been fighting against Daesh, which is outlawed in many countries, including Russia and the United States.

"Two bombs exploded in the Wadi-al-Dahab neighborhood, there are injured among the civilian population," the source told RIA Novosti.
