According to reports, Iraqi government forces have pushed Daesh jihadists out of the city of Hit to the west of Anbar province’s capital of Ramadi.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) Iraqi government forces have pushed Daesh jihadists, whose activities are prohibited in numerous countries including Russia and the United States, out of the city of Hit to the west of Anbar province’s capital of Ramadi, Lebanese Almayadeen reported Thursday, citing Iraqi anti-terrorist units.

The Lebanese broadcaster also reported that Iraq has intensified its bombing of terrorist positions in the region.
