Egypt Requests Cyprus to Extradite EgyptAir Hijacker
12:45 GMT 30.03.2016 (Updated: 13:00 GMT 30.03.2016) Egyptian Prosecutor General Nabil Sadiq on Wednesday sent an official request to Cypriot authorities for the extradition of EgyptAir hijacker, Egyptian Seif Eldin Mustafa, Egypt’s Alyoum Alsabea reported.
CAIRO (Sputnik) – Mustafa hijacked the passenger aircraft with 81 passengers on board en route from Egypt’s Alexandria to Cairo on Tuesday. The plane subsequently landed in Cyprus's Larnaca airport, where the hijacker was detained after negotiations with local authorities.
