MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The officers of the Russian center for Syrian reconciliation held seventeen meetings with leaders of six Syrian political parties and movements in three provinces in the past three days, the Russian Defense Ministry said Monday.
"In order to expand the security zone in the Homs, Hama and Aleppo provinces, a total of 17 coordination meetings involving the Russian reconciliation center, local reconciliation committees, as well as leaders of six political parties and movements have been held in the past three days," the ministry said in a bulletin posted on its website.
