    The Russian reconciliation center has delivered humanitarian assistance to over 100 settlements in Syria, the Russian General Staff said Friday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – He noted that the Hmeymim facility in Latakia province received 144 metric tons of humanitarian cargo from Russia, including food, drinking water and other essentials.

    The official added that medical experts were en route to settlements where the local population had not received medical assistance for years.

    "The Russian reconciliation center delivered humanitarian assistance to over 100 settlements, that is hundreds of tons," Lt.Gen. Sergei Rudskoi, head of the Main Operational Directorate, told reporters.
