    Russian, Syrian Jets Not Bombing Opposition Adhering to Ceasefire

    The Russian Aerospace and Syria’s Air forces did not launch airstrikes on opposition armed groups that declared a cessation of hostilities and informed the Russian or US reconciliation centers of their locations, according to the Russian center for Syrian reconciliation.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian and Syrian combat jets did not carry out airstrikes on opposition groups that joined ceasefire in Syria over the past 24 hours, the Russian center for Syrian reconciliation said in a bulletin published Tuesday.

    "The Russian Aerospace and Syria’s Air forces did not launch airstrikes on opposition armed groups that declared a cessation of hostilities and informed the Russian or US reconciliation centers of their locations," the bulletin published on the Russian Defense Ministry’s website read.

    A total of 15 ceasefire violations have been registered in the course of the day, the bulletin noted.
