Russia Withdraws Airgroup From Syria as Goal to Stop Daesh Reached
MOSCOW (Sputnik) Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Tuesday refused to discuss “hypothetically returning” Russian military aircraft to Syria in the future.

“We don’t handle hypothetical prognoses,” Peskov told journalists in response to whether Russia may return aircraft to Syria in the future for a possible renewal of military operations in Syria.

Russia’s withdrawal of its Aerospace Forces from Syria will create a pretext for the development of the negotiations process in Syria, Dmitry Peskov said.

“The withdrawal of the contingent will create the necessary pretexts for the development of a positive negotiations process within the [crisis] settlement,” Peskov told journalists.
