Within last 24 hours no serious violations of the ceasefire in Syria have been registered, US State Department spokesperson announced.

WASHINGTON, (Sputnik) — The ceasefire in Syria is holding for the most part and no major violations have been seen in the last 24 hours amid the cessation of hostilities deal, US State Department spokesperson John Kirby stated in press briefing on Tuesday.

“Over last 24 hours, we’ve not been apprised of any claims of any additional violations, of any significance,” Kirby said. “So far it [ceasefire] continues to appear to be holding in place for the large part…Over the last 24 hours we have not seen any major developments.”
