MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Two explosions hit the Syrian city of Homs, killing and injuring several people, the police said Sunday.
"Two blasts took place in the… Al Zahra district of central Homs. one of the bombs was triggered by a suicide bomber. There are casualties among the civilian population," the police told RIA Novosti.
Earlier in the day, witnesses claimed that two attacks took place in the capital of Damascus, but the police denied this information.
