The Syrian Army has broken through the defense of terrorists near the city of Kessad, Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen television reports.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Syrian Army has broken through the defense of militants operating near the large northwestern city of Kessab in the province of Latakia, Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen television reported Thursday citing a local source.

“The Syrian Army has broken through to one of the most important directions in the outskirts of Kessab in Latakia’s northeast. Offensive operations are underway,” the source told Al Mayadeen.
