The Turkish artillery has been massively shelling Syrian troops and patriotic opposition in border areas since last week, with over 100 volleys registered in the Aleppo province, the Russian Defense Ministry's spokesperson told journalists on Tuesday.

"Since last week, Turkey's heavy artillery has been shelling Syrian troops and patriotic opposition in border areas. According to reconnaissance, the Turkish artillery has fired more than 100 volleys at border residential areas in the Aleppo province," Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.

On Saturday, Turkish forces began shelling the positions of Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) in Syria's Aleppo region.

Turkish forces bombed a village and an airbase that were recently captured by Kurds, Al Mayadeen TV reported Saturday. Prior to being captured by the YPG, the village and the airbase belonged to al-Nusra Front terrorist organization.

On Saturday, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu claimed Turkish forces shelled Kurds' positions in northern Syria as a retaliatory measure within rules of engagement. Syria's Foreign Ministry branded the shelling as direct support of the terrorists on Sunday.

Kurdish fighters, alongside the Syrian Armed Forces, have been fighting against terrorists in the north of the country.

it seems that they may fly in and out how they want :-( No reaction from a S-400 there. I don't know what a f*king game is played there but I don't like it anymore.
And what was that Munich-conference for? To play a SHOW?
Turkish TRUCKS went to Syria for Aleppo. Why they still have wheels and move? :-(
And WHOS allies are the KURDS? Or it doesn't matter if some Turkish punks shoot with Artilery on your Allies?

Do we have AGAIN that stu.pid Donbas-show with "I'm here but I'm not here"?

This in part is Russian politicians "ENDLESS TALKS" fault. you don't tell enemies that you may NOT act, IF they attack the country you trying to protect.. Very DUMB!!
      What to do?
Pinpoint and ask Kurd's to help find every single convoy of reinforcements helping into Syria. and blow them to pieces . Send Russian planes and have SU 35 ready on air... In case the fools decide to attack Russian planes again. Dominate by denying access.
Then reinforce the Syrian army better. Carefully chose whats best , creating colums of T 90's, terminator 2 support for teh T 90's, AA behind. and transport convoys to rapidly mobilize deep to the edge of the border. That will be the beginning of the end.
Send NATO an ULTIMATUM, that will highlight the consequences of NATO's winks to Turkey. Denounce NATO at security council of U.N, for whatever good, if not just to say the obvious.
Syria MUST be ready for an invasion. Bluff or not, is best to be ready for the storm.

No Name, It is becoming increasingly unclear just who is on whose side and who is against who.
Turkey has threatened Israel over their murder of Turkish citizens. Now Israel supports the Kurds who are enemies of the Turks.
Yet Turkey is trying to overthrow the legitimate government of Syria.
Israel wants Syria broken up and Assad removed. Russia is supporting the Syrian government, yet still allows Israel to attack them and their other allies in the struggle.
This sort of thing goes on and on with all sides to the conflict. Which are the true sides, and which are for show?

NATO members can apparently do what they want without fear of retaliation or discipline. Now NATO is the enemy, I knew it all along .

Randall Lee Hilburn, Izzies don't support the Kurds, or only on the paper. In fact they support Al-Nusra, who are slaughtering Kurds ! They even take care of Al-Nusra fighters in their hospitals, which suppose they are in contact with them inside Syria to let them cross the Syrian-lsraeIi border when needed.

Marques rouges, I appreciate your clarification. No disagreement. But do you think that they may be supporting both sides in an effort to destroy Syria as a single country? Which is something they have been wanting to do for some time. I have heard the idea from some others.

Randall Lee Hilburn, Turkey is being dragged into this war and will be spanked for its revolt against the American hints.
