    The IAEA Director General said Saturday that Tehran finished all preparatory steps to start implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano said Saturday that Tehran finished all preparatory steps to start implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

    "Today, I released a report confirming that Iran has completed the necessary preparatory steps to start the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action," Amano said in a statement.

    ​He added that  the report was submitted to the IAEA Board of Governors and to the United Nations Security Council.
