The US-led coalition against Daesh (Islamic State) eliminated more than 60 terrorists in Ramadi over the past day, Operation Inherent Resolve spokesperson Col. Steven Warren told reporters on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – “We killed about, almost, I think over 60 fighters inside Ramadi just in the last 24 hours,” Warren said.

Ramadi had been occupied by Daesh, an organization outlawed in many countries including Russia, since May.
