MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have arrested 10 Palestinians on suspicion of links to terrorist groups in the West Bank's Kalandia refugee camp, local media reported Thursday.
"The IDF will continue to act decisively against terror centers in Judea and Samaria [West Bank] whenever and wherever required," an IDF spokesman said after the operation as quoted by The Jerusalem Post.
With another seven arrested in Thursday's morning raid, knives, bullets and IDF uniforms were seized during the arrest, according to the newspaper.
IDF actions provoked a response from local residents, with violent confrontations following, Palestinian media reported. During the second raid in two days, IDF forces raided dozens of homes and businesses, causing damage to property and belongings, reports said.
