MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Ahmed Dahmani, a 26-year-old man of Moroccan origin, was arrested at a luxury hotel in Antalya, the venue of this week’s G20 summit, the Dogan news agency (DHA) said.
According to DHA, Dahmani planned to flee to Syria through Turkey with the help of Ahmet Tahir and Muhammed Verdy, who were detained on a highway closeby. They are suspected to have been sent by the Islamic State.
A total of 130 people died on November 13 in a series of near-simultaneous attacks on restaurants, a bar, the Bataclan concert hall and the Stade de France in Paris. Over 300 others were injured. The ISIL terror group took responsibility for the bloodshed.
